Suor Maria Liliana ToselliThe association called “Pious Union of the Daughters and Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary” has its legal seat in Rome, via di Valle Alessandra 35: it was founded by Sister Maria Liliana ( religious name of Luisa Toselli) and it is an institute of consecrated life whose members join it through the profession of the evangelical counsels.

Its members publicly publicly adhere to a specific spirituality and charism explicitly expressed by the Constitutions and other writings of the founding mother ; their purpose is to live a stable community life “propter gloriam Patris” – “on account of the glory of God”.

It is regulated by the norms of the Constitutions, by the norms of the Code of the Canon Law ; it takes inspiration from the writings of the founding mother, sister Maria Liliana ( “My Way”, “Jumping in God”, “Sisters Without a Convent” and others). Through brotherly life, lived in unity according to the charism of this religious family, every member has the task to witness the Kingdom of God as a means of salvation for mankind (John 17:3).

  • Who are the Brothers and the Sisters? The Brothers and Sisters are those who belong to the religious family through a specific act of consecretion. The consecretion is annually renewed and it has the purpose to retrieve, renew and offer the initial unconditional adherence to God’s plan. It is also bound to consecrate the members progressively to the Father though the action of the Holy Spirit for the incoming year.
  • Who are the Heralds? The Heralds are those members who are acknowledged by the community as reliable bearers of a specific gift : to generate the spirit of familiar communion, to guarantee the continuity of the charism,to promote unity and to guide to a deep experience of God. A member can have access to the group of the Heralds by appointment of the College of the Heralds. As stated in ch.7 of the Constitutions, the Herards constitute a College supervised by a Superior.
  • Who are the Friends? Though the Friends are not required to share communal life, they are linked to the Family and cooperate in the evangelization and in the social works of the Family.

The religious Family is made up of men and women religious, priests and lay people who make an unconditional and irrevocable choice to serve the Kingdom of God according to their calling, through the means and the style that characterise the community
