The Daughters and Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary ( FFCIM) are called to share the same experience lived by Jesus and Mary : the offer of their lives. From this perspective , they live their consecration to the Father, with Mary. Mary didn’t offer God “something” of herself - her belongings, her time, her commitment. She offered herself, totally, fully/unreservedly to the divine plan : “Fiat!” (da cercare cit. su Bible of Jerusalem)
These are the features that enable the members to live their “priesthood of love”:
- Be thankful to God for his mercy: “propter gloriam Patris” , to the glory of God, the Father, who has filled us with all grace
- This is our spiritual worship: love for the liturgy
- To discern God’s will: through prayer
- Transformed by the renewal of your mind: conversion
- What is good, perfect and pleasing to him (Rom 2:12): obedience
- To present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship (Rom 2:12): consecration
- The religious Family: a cell of the Church, home of consecrated men and women, place where the salvific love of Jesus is manifested, through the complete offering of self
